Terms of Service

These terms govern the services provided by United Gurus ("United Gurus", "we", "us").

1. Services

United Gurus provides technology consulting and engineering services, including AI automation, ecommerce development and growth work, managed IT and security retainers, dashboards, marketing asset production and social media services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and price of each engagement are defined in a written proposal or statement of work agreed before work begins.

2. Proposals and payment

• Projects are quoted at a fixed price for a fixed scope; changes to scope are quoted separately before extra work starts.
• Retainers are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled with one month's written notice unless otherwise agreed.
• Invoices are payable within 14 days unless the proposal states otherwise.

3. Client ownership

Unless a proposal states otherwise, all code, configurations, accounts and other deliverables produced for a client belong to that client on full payment. Pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how remain ours but are licensed to the client as needed to use the deliverables.

4. Confidentiality

We treat all non-public client information — revenue figures, customer data, credentials, business plans — as confidential, whether or not a separate NDA is signed. We are happy to sign your NDA on request.

5. Warranties and liability

We perform all work with professional skill and care. Except where prohibited by law, our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost profits. We do not warrant specific business outcomes (e.g. conversion or revenue improvements); published results are examples, not guarantees.

6. Third-party services

Engagements often involve third-party platforms (hosting, Shopify, ad platforms, payment providers, AI APIs). Their terms and pricing apply to the client directly; we are not responsible for changes, outages or costs imposed by third parties.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law, unless a written agreement with the client states otherwise. Before any dispute goes to court, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith.
